Guest guest
I made portabella pizza last night. I marinated the mushrooms in a garlicky vinaigrette and then cooked them in the Forman grill for about 5 minutes. Then I topped them with cooked shrimp, fresh basil and fresh mozzarella and put them under the broiler until the cheese melted. They were great. in Atlanta ----- Original Message ----- From: sbd4us Has anyone tried making pizza using large portabella mushrooms for the crust? If so how did it go? Would you recommend it? Guest guest
Do you find the GF grill really useful? I don't have one, just curious. > I made portabella pizza last night. Guest guest
I couldn't live without mine - I use it at least once per day. Re: Mushroom Crust Pizza? Do you find the GF grill really useful? I don't have one, just curious.
Guest guest
I had received one as a gift, years ago and rarely used it. One day when I was planning on grilling outdoors and the skies opened up, I used it instead. Now I'm hooked. It is great when you come home from work and can throw on some chicken breasts, pork chops, burgers, veggie burgers, fish filets, asparagus, onions, etc. It's one of the best ways to get dinner on the table, fast. Some people complain that it is hard to clean, but I find that if you put some wet paper towels in it (unplugged) while you eat, it wipes out very easily. in Atlanta ----- Original Message ----- Do you find the GF grill really useful? I've done it, and it's great! It isn't as large as a regular pizza, so we have them as a side dish. But it sure satisfies the craving for pizza! -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@...
