Guest guest
Good Morning Mark: I was in permanent Afib a few years ago, and various meds and six cardioversions didn't change a thing. Then Dofetilide/Tikosyn came down the pike and since then I have been in (NSR) normal sinus rhythm since - and best of all, no side effects. You might want to look into it. Also, we have forty-eight (48) members who have had some type of an Ablation, including PVA. I would encourage you to take a glance at our Ablation Database. Click below, then count down three topics and click on the word " Ablation " : http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AFIBsupport/database You might also want to check out ' database..........this is a very thorough listing of our members and their medical history. How about adding your own? http://www.dialsolutions.com/af/ A very warm welcome to you.........sure glad you found us. Ellen (NSR on Dofetilide) *************** ----- Original Message ----- (snipl) I am a new member who suffers from intermitent a-fib. (snip) Recently I have had conversion (snip) I am on the waiting list for PVA sometime in the fall. I live in Vancouver, Canada. Most of the posts that I have read in various websites from other A-Fib sufferers, indicate that they are in A-fib all the time. Are there others out there like me?
