Guest guest Posted May 25, 2003 Report Share Posted May 25, 2003 PVA is done for people who have chronic affib-There may be a slightly lower sucess rate for chronic affibers vs. paroxymal affibers but many people with chronic affib have pvas and it is not true what was told to you that having chronic affib eliminates your being considered for a pva. Amediorone does not require a hospital stay to be started on it so why would you be put in the hospital for startup of it? Also, what mreasons are they giving for potentially putting in a pacemaker, are they considering doing an av node ablation and then adding a pacemaker which is a last resort type of option- jerry Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
