Guest guest
Well said Mark! Often times our emails are peppered with medical as well as personal and spiritual messages, as it is hard to separate all of this, as EDS impacts so tremendously, and impacts other avenues of our lives. When I write in and need prayers because my sister has brain cancer, what I really am saying is how am I going to take care of her, with all my health issues? How am I supposed to keep up with the physical demands that will be required of me? And believe it or not I am able to find support from others on this list who have gone through similar experiences, and somehow muddle through. Love, Sue G. I am sometimes too quick whipping through the emails, but I hadn't seen your name before- if you have been here a long time please excuse me! Where are you from and how long have you known you had EDS? Do you have any children? Do they have it? Curiosity killed the cat Love Kristi Re: The List Split Question ok ok ok I see that everyone here wants it to be the same. Im only 20 and going to college. My majors range from Astronomy, Art, to teaching, depending on if I feel analytical or artsy or helpful at any givin time. Right now it is art. Too much math with astronomy. I have one sister who has EDS and she is 17. Do you have kids. What was it like growing up with EDS? How old are you? Are you in school? working? Guest guest
Hi Jocelyn! I'm Kristi, I'm 26, married to 27, we have been married for 7 years. I did work for Blue Cross Blue Shield of IL, but now I am on disability. we have 2 sons Hunter age 6, and Dakota age 4, and we are expecting our third child - I am 22 weeks pregnant right now. My mom has EDS as well, I *think* she is 50, I kind of lose track and she definitely doesn't look her age. I am her only child. I was diagnosed with EDS in February 2001, and my mom has never been formally diagnosed although there is no doubt in my mind. I have always been extremely hypermobile, but felt stiff at the same time- KWIM? I remember having to move my joints around and crack and pop my neck and back as early as memories of waking up in my playpen. So I can remember EDS all the way back to the age of two. Great to meet you! Kristi Re: The List Split Question In a message dated 12/29/01 7:54:18 AM Pacific Standard Time, AKHDDEVO@... writes: > No problem Jocelyn!
