Guest guest
It is hard to know when to say something and when to just move on. I am getting questions like " my you have lost weight.... what are you doing? " And then you have to think how far you want to take this conversation, and if you want to bother. It is hard. I don't know if I handle it well or not, but what I do is if the person is someone who might benefit from this info then I share about the surgery. If it is someone that I don't think will get it, then I just smile and say thanks and move away. No more said. How do others handle this? Hugs, Romero --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Guest guest
Really ? I would never have guessed you were that outgoing.... Okay I lie..... LOL.. Balynda amazed me (my 18 year old), I was telling this one lady about it in Wal-Mart, and Balynda piped in with how proud she is of me, and what a great decision I made. Then she adds in that it is not fair though. She has about 50 lbs to lose, and she is doing great at it. But it is hard to see me shedding pounds a week, and her 1 or 2 a week.... she is sorta joking..... sorta serious..... LOL. This past week I was at a little plateau for the week, not a pound lost, but I was having serious issues with my back and the fibro..... and sick kids. So my only exercise was wiping snot from rapidly running noses..... my arms look better tones now.... Guest guest
Dear Debby, My boss was off this weekend.. and I wasnt scheduled to work today either.. I think maybe I need to go in to work more often when I am not on the schedule..lol.. I actually switched days off with another co worker.. she needed Sat and Sun off to go out of town with her family for the 4th.. had Thur and Fri off.. My boss forgot to switch us, but I got that taken care of by the asst store manager yesterday. Take care Hugs, from GA open RNY 12/12/00 Revision 04/18/01 Revision 02/07/02 St wt.... 392 Cw........199 Wt loss..-
Guest guest
Dear Debby, Feels great to be able to say my weight with a 1 rather than a 2,3, or 4 in front.. I did get to a 4 in front , but was in the 3/s when I had surgery the first time.. Thanks for being so encouraging and so sweet.
