I watched this again last night with Rod. He had heard what I'd said about

it, and decided to watch too. The doctor made it sound like there isn't a

problem with lax joints.

So many of the things remind me of my sister and I doing these positions for

fun. I thought every one could them as both sides of the family are

hypermobile.

I wondered too if anyone had written to TLC -- The Learning Channel stating

the other side of collagen disorders with hypermobile joints, and some of

the ramifications.

A letter from one of the national organizations would perhaps interest

them enough to do a program on it. They have covered many other genetic

disorders. (I can dream, can't I?)

(clip) So, we watched the program. Boy, did it

trigger memories of some of the things I could do in phy ed class! Yikes!

Has anyone written The Learning Channel to explain what a injustice to EDS

this show is? Shall we start a writing campaign to let them know about the

effects EDS has on our bodies?

Sadly, TLC did approach the national organizations before the show aired and

I have to assume that they didn't want that information to overshadow their

focus of the show.

Most irritating!!!!!
