Guest guest
Good morning, I just joined this group (uh.. about 2 minutes ago) and am looking forward to having some 'company' while dealing with the challenges and the benefits of this way of eating. I have never been on a food program of this sort but it sure makes a lot of sense to me. I am a hopeless carb-addict and am desperate to find a way to get through my days without obsessing over my next bite of pasta, pastry, candy, fries and the like. I am sure many of you can relate to this relentless anguish. This morning I made up a very interesting 'oatmeal'-like dish comprised of whey protein and psyllium seed. I love oatmeal and was very pleased with how closely this dish approximated the taste and feel of the real thing... I don't want to OD on eggs too early on *G*.... Hope to hear from others who are very serious about losing those uncomfortable extra pounds using South Beach Program... - Alice (Rockville, Md.)
