Guest guest
Anyone familiar with it or have personal experience either constructing or living in one? Wondering about the ease of learning construction techniques, how " green " can they be built, and off-grid potential. Guest guest
Sharon, A large 5 bedroom house straw-baland cob house is currently under construction at Heathcote community in land. http://www.heathcote.org/NBWorkshops.shtml They gave us a tour a couple weeks ago. The roof is on and limewash was in various stages of progress. The house is beautiful and the workmanship looks top notch. The site offers photos of the project. You can contact the community - if you're unable tor each them for any reason, feel free to p.m. me and I'll get you through to them. Regards, LInda Re: Re: OT - Straw Bale Construction Yes, thank you. Am familiar with MEN.
