Here's an interesting interview with Steinberg (posted, I

imagine without permission, on some site that appears to not have much

love for the guy!), who was one of the architects of the acceptance of

cholesterol as the cause of heart disease, on the oxidative

modification hypothesis (i.e. the idea that oxidation of LDL is what

causes atherosclerosis).
