Guest guest
Just a note here. I had the same thing before my drug reaction. Acupuncture really cleared it up, then I started eating healthier because acupuncture made healthy food taste good. And I didn't even go to acupuncture for IBS. My IBS is completely gone. It took a while to kick in, but it worked after 20 years of chronic diarrhea. Oh and I'll vouch for kale, too...I eat a ton of it as well as just about all greens in general. good luck, G ** Three cheers for Primal Defense and kale. :-) Seriously, people, Primal Defense is one of the best products going for restoring normal gut and bowl flora and function. Naturally, if you do not support it during and after with enough roughage (vegetables), the benefits will disappear. Remember, if you grew up not eating this way it will take some time to resurrect proper functioning of digestion and elimination. Nobody ever needs to suffer with IBS. It is completely curable. Thank you, , for sharing this with people. Regards, colleen_gaynor <colleen_gaynor> wrote: Hi, I have been withdrawing from prozac for a little less than a year now. I have been doing well. I am down from 20 mg a day to 13 mg a day. I have been going very slowly, only because I find it's easiest on me. I started my last taper about 2 weeks ago, and I am finding I am just extremely tired more than anything. I also have a persistant headache...but I know it's just withdrawal. I have been reading alot about cleanses and I am interested in trying one. I follow the no sugar or processed carbs diet presented by 's files. I was wondering if in addition to this I could do a more involved cleanse at this time. Any suggestions for a safe cleanse? I am particularly looking for something to help my colon health as colon polyps and cancer as well as IBS runs in the family. Thanks, Colleen>> ** Cleanses are not good for people taking these drugs. Your best bet is to cleanse using kale and beets. Eat every other day for a week. For most, this is plenty. It is the lack of roughage that contributes to IBS and polyps. -- To subscribe to our off-topic Social list go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/socialWandR/ To subscribe to our Truth-in-Health list go to: http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/truth-in-health
