" They " (the provincial government here) have decided to take a " Hack 'em off at the knees " direction and about one third of provincial government employees are being layed off...the majority of which will be here in (our main " employers here are tourism and government) I do empathise with you ...so very many more job losses since 911...I saw (a news *bit*) where it said that money/(job) losses here in Canada have been 3 billion?? (hard to believe that!) ...so can " only imagine " how this has impacted the U.S. My prayers are on the way for your whole family.... btw, (he has probably already thought of this, but....just in case) aren't there a couple of different Net addys which have *career* specific ...job listings for U.S. and other places???....I will ask Randy when he gets home...(if you do need or want them by then)...because I remember that a few of his classmates got some jobs in the U.S. through the Internet process...when they got out of school a couple of years ago....
