Guest guest
That’s regular flour and, as far as I know, not allowed. King Arthur makes nice whole wheat flour both ‘red’ and ‘white’. The two brown bags in the right of the picture here: http://ww2.kingarthurflour.com/cgibin/htmlos.cgi/58140.1.1424813505016768360 I can get this right in the grocery store. What you have is the white bag all the way to the left (which I can also get in the grocery store). One of the whole wheat flour bags has (or at least used to have) a recipe for 100% whole wheat bread that is *very* good. Ooohh… tangentially-related…. How do you bake bread without sugar? You *must* add sugar to get the yeast to work? I assume you use a minimal amount and that it’s all used up in the process of the yeast doing their job? Fingers crossed this is allowed! Trader Joe's King Arthur brand flour Unbleached All-Purpose Flour Ingredients: Unbleached hard wheat flour, malted barley flour, nicacin, etc. No fat Total Carbs: 22g (1/4 cup) Sugars: less than 1g Protein: 3g No chemicals added I'm thinking chicken-fried steak (altho we use Pork) and maybe gravy????? I couldn't find any whole wheat flour. But, TJ's does have good bread, pita and crackers! Their pasta selection wasn't the greatest, in whole wheat. in Salinas, CA

By sprouting them first, the sugars are released, resulting in the sweetness of malt. I would say this is a no. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
TJ's has WW flour (at least the one near me has it). I had a bag of it in my cart last Saturday, but put it back because I decided I wasn't making bread this week. After I left TJ's, I went to the regular grocery store. WW flour was approximately twice the cost of the TJ's stuff! --Laurie > Fingers crossed this is allowed! > > Trader Joe's > King Arthur brand flour > Unbleached All-Purpose Flour > Ingredients: Unbleached hard wheat flour, malted barley flour, > nicacin, etc. > No fat > Total Carbs: 22g (1/4 cup) > Sugars: less than 1g > Protein: 3g > No chemicals added > > I'm thinking chicken-fried steak (altho we use Pork) and maybe > gravy????? > > I couldn't find any whole wheat flour.
