Guest guest
I know a couple of people like that. You can't educate them because they don't want to be educated, and some will go out of their way to sabotage your efforts to stick to your WOE. Kellie ----- Original Message ----- From: lisa schebel My first week I went to visit my friend, who doesn't understand any dieting let alone SB, this is what she planned for dinner.........popcorn chicken nuggets and french fries. Mind you between us we have 9 kids, so that would be a normal dinner when we get together. But we got there late and she had already feed the kids tacos, so in a pinch I ate the hamburger with seasonings, full fat cheese and salsa, as my friend does not eat lettuce either. We went to the store later and I got some nuts and diet pop, while they all got sugar snacks and chips. LOL My friend would be the perfect person for SB, she has had sugar problems with each of her 4 kids, but she won't listen. She told me she was going to lose 10 lbs in a month to prove to her sister you could do it. I said she should try SB and she said she couldn't give up her carbs, so she just wouldn't eat! Then she tells me what she had that day, 5 popcorn chicken and a handful of popcorn. LOL again. I don't know what to do with her, maybe when she sees me again she will ask about SB and listen this time.Brad & wrote:

Guest guest
I used to be exactly like that!
Guest guest
, Just smile at your friend, and don't offer any suggestions. Congratulate her when she tells you what she ate (that she thinks is good for her). She'll eventually be asking you how to do it your way. I've experienced the same thing with a friend, and I supported her low-fat high carb diet, felt her pain at not loosing, and when she finally asked what I was doing, she climbed right onboard and the pounds melted away.
