Guest guest Posted January 4, 2007 Report Share Posted January 4, 2007 Hi all, Does zyprexa (intake & withdrawal) increase LDL & decrease HDL levels aftertaking for mere 7 weeks (first & last week - 2.5mg & the in-between 5 weeks 5 mg ; total 200mg) ? Stopped zyprexa on 7-Sep-2006. My HDL reduced by 37% & LDL increased by 34%. The lipid test was done on 4-Jan-2007. The previous lipid test was done on 10-Sep-2006 (right after I stopped zyprexa). The diet is same throughout. In fact for the past one month I take fish oil, Vit C & a multivitamin. How do I address this w/o statin drugs ? I'll start a strict diet & exercise regime.
