Guest guest
Welcome to South Beach - and Canada. There are lots of Canadians on this list so feel free to post questions about " translations " and where to get products, equivalents, etc. How long have you lived in Ottawa and whereabouts? My daughter did two terms in the Ceremonial Guards Band and did a post-grad at U of O. Ottawa's one of my favorite places. And beautiful at this time of year. Guest guest
Hi ! Thanks for the warm Welcome! Doing better on the translations and such up here, still stumble around a bit from time to time. Never could find a decent health food store near me, but i did find a great one down in Kingston. Love that place anyways. Makes for an even better excuse to head down for a weekend if I need to hit the HFS. We've been here about 20 months now, so no longer a newbee so to speak <G> Other half is CAnadian so he was a huge help with the measurements.. Geesh at the beginning I felt like a school kid when i went to pick up packages of meat with the conversions! Ottawa's great. I enjoy it here. And it's a city that's constantly busy. It is pretty now, but then I think it holds it's own special appeal during every season. This coming from the women who got married during winterlude and had her family traipse up here from the deep south! LOL Never been to your neck of the woods..but hey we are making our rounds. Next week we are heading up to Quebec City. Can't wait. -Kim- > Welcome to South Beach - and Canada.
