You don't say how long you have been off the drug or how long you were on it in the first place. You probably reduced too quickly--most people do, even those who think they've gone slowly.It is impossible to say how long it will take your body to recover--everyone is different. Take a look in our Files, especially Eating for Recovery and the Basic Healing Protocol. These will give you some idea of how to proceed.

i was on 180 mg of geodon then slowly went to 160 mg then to 0 mg and

then to 60 mg and came off within a period of a week..Ever since i have

been off i haven't been able to sleep..when will my sleeping patterns

turn back to normal?How long is this going to last...i feel totally

fine but i just can't sleep.

will these withdrawals from geodon ever go away???? i was on 60

milligrams for two months and stopped taking it and its been messing

with my sleep schedule for the last 5 days that i have been off.

You need to go back on the drug and come off SLOWLY, reducing the dose by no more than 5-10% at a time. Have you read any of the articles we sent yet? They explain all this. They can be found in the group Files.

You are doing yourself damage every day that you wait to go back on the drug and reduce the right way.Regards,KimmoderatorOn 10/31/06,
