Guest guest
catherine when i posted the question i WAS referring to arthritis. i read that you can get Arthritis-like symptoms. i was diagnosed the DJD in both my knees 15 years ago. i have the blood tests and x-rays to prove it. my question was sincere. i did not want or expect such a flippant answer. i did not need to be told that it would go away in time. REAL arthritis doesnt just go away. so now will you answer my question? is there a pain reliever that is better than any other for relieveing REAL arthitis pain. pam w ** I don't know why you're offended, Pam. You didn't get a " flippant " answer. You got the short answer of a person who has taken a break from the list and still tries to stop by to answer some emails. The alternative is for me to stick with my original intention of not responding at all. I stand by my statement. Taking Paxil did not stop arthritis any more than stopping Paxil caused arthritis.. Any increased pain you feel as a result of stopping Paxil is due to cell inflammation and hormonal dysregulation and can be treated instead of masked. It may feel like arthritis to you but it isn't. If you are convinced that this is " REAL arthritis pain " or I am misunderstanding something, then this question is not relevant to the purpose of this group and should be directed elsewhere. If this is what you think then the issue is not Paxil but arthritis. > > since dropping the paxil i am in pain all the time time from the > arthritis. > > have it in my knees, back and hands. i keep going as best i can but > the pain is so unbearable. > > what do you recommend? > > (just to let you know that i could go thru a ton of rub on stuff and > get no relief. heat or cold work as long as either of them is applied > but effects go away too soon after taken away. hot bath is no good cus > cant get in and out of tub by myself.) > > pam w >
