Good luck with your first 2 weeks!!! And, yes, the Good Carbs, Good Fats book is *very* good. It is a must-have!

Tomorrow is my Day!

I went grocery shopping this evening and I am prettymuch all prepared to start the next two weeks. Theonly thing I need to do is go to the Farmer's Marketfor fresh veggies, which I will do tomorrow morning.

Hi Kel,

I am a type2 diabetic also. I've been following SBD since Feb. and my A1C was so low that the doctor has lowered my meds. It works great for high cholesterol too.

I’ve found the good carbs book

useless. Fun to

look through but really nothing new in there for me.

If you can afford it (and Amazon had the

best price I could find… if you include it with something else to get to

$25 and free shipping), I’d suggest the cookbook. It was my reward for getting through

phase 1 and 2 weeks of phase 2… new recipes!

co-worker

I went to Border's and bought the book for

myself. My

reward for myself for getting through the

first 2

weeks will be the " Good Carbs, Bad

Carbs " book. Does

anyone have that and find it useful?

The fact that the hardest part is only the

first two

weeks should help me along. After two

weeks my

choices more than double. That should

keep me going.
