Guest guest
Hi -- Thanx for the funny post. It was particularly funny to me being a blind computer user -- I use a screen reader (software that reads aloud what's on the screen) to access the computer. It was hilarious how natural the poem sounded, until you spelled out the words. Because of dependence on screen readers and such, blind persons are often notoriously bad spellers. I myself am an exception (if I don't say so myself) as I've had partial vision and so have been able to see enough print that I pick up the spelling. But I posted your poem on several blindness-related lists I'm subscribed to and got lots of laughs. Thought I'd mention it. --le [off subject] AWL WEIGHS EWES YORE SPELLING CHEQUER > > AWL WEIGHS EWES YORE SPELLING CHEQUER > > > Eye halve a spelling chequer > It came with my pea sea, > It plainly marques four my revue > Miss steaks eye kin knot sea. > > Eye strike a key and type a word > And weight four it two say > Weather eye am wrong oar write > It shows me strait a weigh. > > As soon as a mist ache is maid > It nose bee fore two long > And eye can put the error rite > Its rarely ever wrong. > > Eye have run this poem threw it > I am shore your pleased two no > Its letter perfect in it's weigh > My chequer tolled me sew. > > > > > > >
