Guest guest
It doesn't sound like you're totally South Beach so I will give you a tip I learned years ago. Go on an APPLE day. For one day, eat nothing but apples and all you want. It breaks that plateau. in California > I am interested in hearing ideas on how to get over a plateau. >

I eat " real " ice cream. I think that translate into raising my blood sugar and thus producing a surge of insulin.
Guest guest
I'd stay away from those frozen dinners. They are processed, and full of sodium (which can cause water retention) Why don't you go back on Phase 1 for a week or so? Maybe that will help. Good luck Plateau Busters I am interested in hearing ideas on how to get over a plateau. I lost 15 lbs initially with sb, but have been stalled for 2months. I started at 150, and my goal is 125 (I am 5'2").One of the strategies that worked for me in phase one waskeeping a food diary. So I have started doing that again. Ialso bought some weight watcher frozen dinners to help withportion control and easy, fast meals.Any other ideas? Thanks!
Guest guest
I agree with you on this one - those diet dinners are not satisfying at all!! Even when I was on WW I did not eat them! I have lost about 6 lbs in a month on the SBD but I have kept off the 30 lbs I have lost on WW over a year now. I am 5'7 and now weigh 162 - I would like to get down to 155 but everyone thinks I am at my goal weight now which is OK! I talked to someone else who has lost 40 lbs on the SBD and he says it could take me up to one year to lose the little bit extra that I have to - thats OK too! I like the SBD as I don't have to count portions and I have eliminated white flour and most sugars from my diet and I feel GREAT. So if all the SBD does is help me maintain my weight loss - thats OK too!! Blessings, Debbi in NS
