Yes there's a Central Texas WAPF chapter that has a group. They

discourage making judgments on farmers publicly on the list, so I may

have to contact some of the members individually for their opinions.

That's got to be the best way and I enjoy seeing nice farms. As time

permits, I hope to do the same.

I've been fortunate to get real milk and cream from a grade A Jersey

dairy at only $5/gallon milk and $8/quart cream. Too bad it's not

legal in stores in Texas like it is in California, but at least it's

legal to purchase at the farm.

I've never had chicken that was frozen when processed. When we have

frozen store bought chicken, it always seems to leak dark red stuff

into the dark meat when cooked. My daughter takes one look at it and

won't eat it and she only likes the dark meat (my preference too).

I'll have to look for pastured organic chicken that's been frozen when

processed and give it a try.
