Guest guest
Oh Yes, I am on the SBD Wagon! The trip was last October. I was doing Atkins at the time, and totally blew it, and gained 8 lbs which I’ve since lost. Now I’m working on my last 5 lbs. July 7th we are leaving for Russia, and I’m hoping to be able to stay pretty much on SBD. Phase 1 will be over with and I’ll be on Phase 2. Also, on this trip there will be lots of walking which always helps me to not gain on a trip. I really do like this SBD, much healthier than Atkins and I’m not starving like on WW. It’s a long series of flights there, and we are going 1 day early to rest up from Jet Lag, before starting the tour. Darlene ------------------- Darlene, You were feeling droopy on your vacation for a couple of reasons. One, you weren't dieting (think about the overtime parts of your body were working to digest the foods they were no longer accustomed too), you weren't excercising, there exciting those trusty brain chemicals that tell you you are happy and energetic, and finally, because you were probably afraid to miss something! (not to mention possible time changes)...

Hi Kris, Can you give this diet a 2-week trial? You should have more energy by that time. The detoxing that happens affects different people in different ways. My DH got really, really crabby during the first week, a real departure for him. He was happy he was losing weight, but complained about everything under the sun, including the diet. Now he's much more pleasant to be around. -- Ann You spend your life fighting dirt, and when you die they bury you in it. hayakawa@... Guest guest
Kris, I am hoping that once phase 1 is over I will feel better. I do feel a little bit better everyday. If I can lose this weight and keep it off then I think it will all be worth it for me. Of course if you feel uncomfortable with the diet and want to stop then you should. You have to listen to your body. Everyone is differnt. Sheri > > > But, don't u think it's bad that we don't even have enough energy to excersie...exercise is so important!!!!!!! That is the best way to get your metabolism going. Is it really worth it to stay on a diet like this if we're not going to feel well & be weak??? I don't know about you, but i live & work in NY & i need my energy. I walk everywhere. To work, home, shopping, etc...if i don't even have enough energy to walk to the subway to get to work & then from the subway to my actual building...that just doesn't seem like a good thing to me. > > What does everyone else think??? > > > Kris
