I am in Lake , Louisiana and I am afraid that I may have to go out of town and then will I be able to have some one nearby for follow ups and supplements and all that? I'm from Lafayette, I had my surgery in N.O. with Dr. who has written a book and has done approx 2500+ surgeries. He does have experience on his side. There are other places in Louisiana that offer the surgery, but I don't want to steer you wrong, by not knowing enough about the other establishments. I'll let the fellow LA GBIC'ers tell you. I went through IMAGES in Baton Rouge. http://www.surgicalweightloss.com/ They were awesome, terrific, wonderful. They do not accept Medicare/Medicaid though.
