I haven't heard that about Spelnda..but the sweetners like sorbitol, manitol any of those with tol at the end effects some people that way. What are the fudgicles sweetened with?

Has anyone else had tummy trouble with Splenda?

Thanks,

Robyn

I don't know......maybe someone else does...

Maybe you just had too much to start with....your body isn't used to it....I'm sure someone will have more info than me.

With Splenda which is Sucralose.

Hi. First let me apologize if I asked this already....I hadn't seen

a reply.

Ok. My wonderful fudgecicles and some great new Iced Tea from

Lipton both have Splenda. I had never had it before. Over the

weekend I had a bout with tummy trouble but dismissed it as it

happens form time to time.

Today however I came home, had a great big glass of diet iced

tea....and my fudgecicle....

I have been to the bathroom four times.

I know I have reactions with the fat substitutes. I do also

remember eating some sugar free candy over the holidays and had the

same thing.

Has anyone else had tummy trouble with Splenda?

Thanks,

Robyn

Sometimes things that say sweetened with Splenda on the label have one or more of the sugar alcohols also. Did you read the ingredients information? I learned my lesson the hard way. I have IBS and can't tolerate the sugar alcohols. Read, read those labels!

I have that problem if I have something with too much sugar alcohol,

the splenda itself has never bothered me. You gotta watch the sugar

alcohol, 10 grams or so is about where it starts bothering me

personally.
