Guest guest
Before the need of tikosyn, I called prevacid my miracle drug!! I have a hiatal hernia that w/o the prevacid causes extreme pain and spasming of my esophagus. > Wade -- I've been taking Prevacid for acidreflux disease for several years and it works great. Guest guest
I have similar problems and my doctor gave me Nexium. I was taking provalcal (spelling? an acid blocker) that was interfering with my coumadin and giving me heart burn. Doctor said that was a common problem. The tambacor I take is so bitter to me I think it messes with my stomach. Prior to burping I get palpations. After about 5 minutes after the palpations I then get a burp. My doctor says I swallow air which causes the burping. He said don't talk while I eat. I usually eat with friends and family. golfkeas What to take for stomach problems I know I've read where it's been discussed on this board about what medications are preferred for A-Fib sufferers as it relates to stomach problems(acid). Am having digestion problems but before taking something I thought I'd ask what has been found to be best and to have the least, if any, affect on our A-Fib. I don't want to mess one thing up (A-Fib) while trying to find a solution to another (stomach/digestion problems). Your advice would be appreciated. My medications include: Nadolol (beta-blocker) 160 mg. day; Accurpil 5mg day; Flecinade 100 mg. day; and coumadin 5 mg. day. Thanks! Wade Palmer wep@... Guest guest
Wade Did the Prevacid effect you coumadin level? When I took it I had to increase my coumadin. Then they changed me to Nexium. golfkeas What to take for stomach problems I know I've read where it's been discussed on this board about what medications are preferred for A-Fib sufferers as it relates to stomach problems(acid).
