Guest guest
Hi , Had something like that myself but since I started with the B12 shots it doesn't seem to be there. Hadn't even noticed till you mentioned it. Just a thought that you might want to have your blood checked for that and anemia, hope it is something really simple for you. Dawn > Just this past week, I've been having some strange symptoms. First of all, I've begun having indigestion a lot, no matter what I eat (and even hours after I've eating anything). Not quite heartburn, but close. Now, I have NEVER had this problem except while pregnant and I KNOW for a fact I am NOT pregnant now. It doesn't bother me at night.... in fact first thing in the morning after sleeping all night is when it doesn't bother me. Today is probably the least it's bothered me all week. > > Also, at about the same time, I started having this funny taste in my mouth... almost metallic. It seems to be coming from my tongue. Guest guest
Have you been checked for ulcer? Grab a glass of orange juice and guzzle it down.... then tell me how you feel. That was my first indicator before having any real symptoms. I was at my boyfriends and grabbed us each a glass... I guzzled some and I got sick.. I thought it was bad and tossed it... a couple of months later it hemorrhaged.. I was passing blood out of both ends... didn't even know it was there. The fact that eating eases symptoms is what is triggering my memory.... Pick up some cottage cheese, or cream cheese... when you are having an 'episode' have just a tablespoon of either one... if it eases... again.. it's your stomach.... You don't need much, just a tablespoon. It gives the acid something to do and a 'target' that gives the acid releasers a guide for volume of acid and will trigger them to stop. Took me a long time to learn that really works. I once got stopped by a cop at a car show.. I'd ducked behind a door and pulled a bottle, wrapped in a brown paper bag, out of my purse. Twisted off the cap and took a long snort.. that's when the cop showed, not at all happy. I was trying to convince him that it was Maalox.. he didn't belive me... I finally let him sniff the bottle... that's when I started using the pills, which took much longer to give relief... later I learned that antacids do too much harm to the body by throwing off it's natural guides for producing acid for digestion and stopping when there is enough to complete the task. That's when I started using the cottage and cream cheeses... and learned how to make 'gruel'... It's a cheese/milk/rice concoction that was a marvel for my healing... I still give the recipe to others that are in hurt. Don't get into the antacid trap, though... I did that for way too many years.. it really messes up your insides.. there are better ways... if that ends up being what is going on you and I can go off list and I'll fill you in on things that I tried over the years, you can see what works best for you. I was diagnosed 25 years ago.... I don't have problems at all anymore... Metallic/coppery taste in your mouth can be blood. This may not be what is going on.... I just wanted to share what I went through all those years ago.... Topper () On Sun, 21 Nov 2004 15:05:33 -0800 "J Sisemore" writes: Just this past week, I've been having some strange symptoms. Guest guest
Hi , Sorry mind went forgot to say that I was talking about the bad taste in your mouth.
