Guest guest
Nope. One of the best advices about keeping from/healing from adrenal crashing either before or during thyroid disease is to CHANGE the HECTIC LIFESTYLE. Some people are so compulsive that they do know this, but seem unable to keep from working themselves to death, whether at home, at a job outside the home, or in their "fun" time either. It is like a drive from within, to their detriment, that drives them to burnout. Burnout, of course, means totally exhausted adrenals. In order to heal this, changes MUST take place. We're not supposed to be figuring out ways to run on nothing, rather there has to be balance, with serenity. That Serenity Prayer wasn't created for the fun of it. I frankly think that MOSt of us here on these boards have similarities in personality types, no matter what walk of life we come from, and it contributes greatly to our disease(s). Re: crashing/muscle aches I personally think that some of us get to feeling so much better that we fool ourselves into thinking that we are completely well. We are not "well" so long as we require medication to support what is wrong. We may be feeling well, but that is not the same thing. I guess that's one area I've been guilty of. The docs tell you, if you take this pill, you'll function just like everyone else!
