You can do this...and keep in mind, just because your dh looks good on the

outside, the bad stuff will catch up to his insides. So...he can always

share in your quest for better health.

good luck.

, I see that you have lost about 20 lbs. If you don't mind,

could you tell me how long you have been on SBD/WOE before you lost

that must weight (19 lbs)? My first goal is to lose 25 lbs. And, my

second goal is to lose 27 lbs. How long were you on Phase 1? Did

you incorporate Phase 1-1/2. I were just wondering how long it would

take me to lose 25 lbs. I know that each person is different and

will lose differently. I am on Phase 1, Day 5 and have lost 5 lbs.

Thanks!

Carmella--

You could be setting yourself up for failure if you judge your

weightloss by what others have achieved. We all lose at our own rate

and if you lose slower than someone else you may become discouraged.

Don't just go by the scale. Take your measurements from time to

time...they are often better indicators of loss then the scale.

5 foot 6 1/2 " - if I stretch. BTW my scales are probably 5lb light

compared to my doctor's but I use my scales to keep track. I'm

probably more like 150lb " real " weight. I'm also 55 years old and can

stand a slimmer, more toned frame.

Hi Everyone!I am in my 4th week of this diet and I have lost 14 pounds! I have ,I don't want to say cheated, but have satisfied my cravings just twice since I started. The book says not to deprive your self so besides those two times I have been very faithfull! It is a very easy diet to follow for me.Reminder: The South Beach Diet is not low-carb.
