Jim,

Take your list of things to discuss. The docs LOVE it when you pull those lists out...not!

Hugs, Joyce D.PULMONARY FIBROSIS/LUPUS 1997 BRONCHIECTASIS 2004 INDIANA 2 COR. 12:10 ....when I am weak, then I am strong.>> Pity the poor Doctor !!!! Briefly, my new pulmonologist, whom I've never met, is a long ways away. I first met the original pulmo over 2 years ago when I was first diagnosed. I was referred to him due to repeated lung infections and actual burns caused by radiation. I was coming off of treatment for lung cancer...so when he said "pulmonary fibrosis" my thought was....."hey, as long as you don't say the C-word, I'm good", right? Oh so wrong!!! The original pulmo left the practice since I last saw him in June. He gave me the names of the other 5 pulmos in Anchorage, including the one that replaced him. I've opted to see the replacement. With the 1st pulmo I was basically dumber than a bucket of rocks, didn't know what to ask, expect, demand, etc. Now, thanks to you good folks and this board, I'm loaded for bear, and I still have 4 weeks to get really worked up. I jest.....I'll be gentle, yet firm, and a hell of a lot more informed than 2 years ago. I'll have another PFT and> as much as I hate those, I feel they at least give me a measure of where this thing is, if it's moved, etc.> > jim IPF 05> alaska > > __________________________________________________>
