We do/did have a member who didn't really believe and she asked one time to just keep her in our thoughts. As you know most of us say that we will pray for who ever is in need. So those of us that knew her tried to remember her request. We each have our beliefs and I don't see anything wrong with telling someone we will keep them in our prayers. If there is anyone that would prefer we didn't pray for them please let us know as we will try to honor your wishes. You know I was a minister and Believe in God if I didn't I don't feel I would still be with you all. I strongly believe God has a time for me too but until that time I will keep fighting this cancer.Each of us have no problem saying to each other we will pray for each other but I believe in God and yes it is a religious thing as well as my illness. I have grown closer to God since I was dianosed. At age 33 I found out I had cancer the first time and then it came back again resently at the age of 36 and then I found out I am stage IV and I am still fighting but not in my strength because we can't win in our strength but in a higher person's strength and I believe that is God who is helping me.
