Your punch recipe is very similar to the one we use at our house.

Only I simplify it.

One pkg Kool-Aid (your choice w/sugar or sugar free)

One bottle 7-UP or Sprite

Ice Ring (this takes a little planning, but is easy)

I use a fluted cake pan (Bundt---any kind of a pan with a hole in the

center) to make the ice ring.

Layer One: Place a small amount of water in the bottom of the pan.

Slice strawberries (frozen are fine) and place on top of water. Place

plastic wrap over top of cake pan and freeze.

Layer Two: Add a little more water then thin slices of lemon placed

artistically around edge of pan and freeze as before.

Layer Three: Add a little water then thin slices or oranges placed

artistically around edge of pan and freeze as before.

Etc. Keep going with as many layers and types of fruit as desired.

After last layer is frozen, add just a little more water and freeze that

to keep last layer of fruit from defrosting and floating in the punch at

the very beginning of serving. Start with the smallest fruit first,

working up to larger fruit as you go. The bottom of the cake

becomes the top of the ice ring when inverted into punch bowl. You

do not have to fill the cake pan for it to be pretty. Probably half full

makes for the prettiest presentation.

When it is time to serve, remove cake pan from freezer and invert

over your hand. Run a little water over the outside of the pan until

the ice ring releases. Place in punch bowl with the smallest end of

the ice ring up, showing off your smallest fruits (strawberries or

grapes, usually). Pour punch over ice ring carefully going through

the hole in center so as not to melt the ice ring. As the ice ring

begins to melt, the fruit starts to float around in the punch and looks

nice.

This is very, very easy to make, but makes a big visual impact.
