Guest guest
So is anyone else interested in joining a list that discusses native nutrition and not much else ? - I'm thinking of starting one.>> No thanks. I like this one JUST FINE. If it sometimes wonders a bit to various topics, even The Yankees, I smile and enjoy it. </HTML>

There already is such a list with over 1,000 members that is heavily moderated and does not allow religious or political topics: discussingnt/ I enjoy seeing heated discussions once in a while So I'm on both lists. Guest guest
I'm with you, . I'm also a member of many moderated lists and it seems to me that the cost of no/light moderation is, a flareup of these discussions every once in a while. I enjoy the freewheelingness mostly. And I was one who in the beginning kept wondering, where are the posts on whole foods nutrition? but I've learned a lot anyway. It's just a different, not better or worse, signal-to-noise ratio. I enjoy the freewheelingness mostly. Ayup. One of my lists even has a team of censors, no less. One time I got slapped on the hand because I sent through a post that included the expression, " As God is my witness.... " in a Scarlett O'Hara kind of moment. Oh, and the expression was edited out, to boot, and I was put on probation for a few weeks. None of my posts could go to the list until they'd been screened. I don't think this list wants to go there, no? --s

Guest guest
Where is 'religion' in this group's introductory message? Those of us who just come to the website to read messages, and don't use an email rule to filter out garbage, don't necessarily have the time to wade through a bunch of screens of irrelevant postings. The point of the WWW, and sites such as , I would have thought, is that if you want to discuss a variety of topics, you can join a variety of lists/groups/whatever. Why the need to fill this one up with posts not 'on topic'? It doesn't need a team of moderators, it simply needs self moderation. ---- Building on the research of Weston A. Price and others, Native Nutrition is dedicated to reclaiming the vibrant health and robust constitution of our birthright by restoring traditional nutrient-dense foods to the modern diet, banishing toxic pseudo-foods and anti-nutrients from the table and opposing low-fat dietary orthodoxy and its legacy of ill health and degenerative disease. Have questions? Need help or advice? You've come to the right place! List-owner Idol and members from all over the world share information, resources and even hard-to-find ingredients! Topics of discussion include: The importance of dietary animal fat and cholesterol for reproduction, normal growth, mental health, protection from illness, and proper function of the nervous and endocrine systems Raw, grass-fed dairy—its nutritional benefits, how to find it and how to make it legally available if it's banned in your area The various virtues of both raw and cooked foods Physical fitness and weight loss Recovery from disease Intestinal health, digestive function and maximal nutrient absorption Fermentation—how to easily preserve foods and enhance their flavor and nutritional quality—ranging from the basics, like yoghurt and kefir (pronounced keh-FEER, by the way!) to less everyday ferments like kimchee and kombucha and even unusual traditional dishes like fermented bone meal and meat Nutritional supplementation—the research, the pros and cons, the best forms and sources, and supplements to avoid Soil fertility and its essential role in nutrition and health The role of grains in the human diet, and their proper preparation > > . > > > >> Ayup.
