Guest guest
Hello Sheila, S> I don't wear jewelry and often wandered if there was any connection S> between wearing gold or silver on your body and certain health S> problems. i can only wear real gold or silver -anything else causes a rash a friend gave me a garnet necklace and some amber earrings to wear as it was supposed to help with thryoid healing but they all broke on the same day which i took to mean that they were now not the right thing for me to wear. Another friend suggested lapis lazuli as a thyroid healing stone but i haven't bought any yet -- Best regards, Alison http://www.alisonashwell.com mailto:alison.ashwell@... new work uploaded http://www.artwanted.com/alisonashwell
Guest guest
If you think that's a strange question then you are going to love my answer As far as gold, silver, etc...I have not heard a lot on it's reactions based on medical illness. I know silver tends to turn on some people and not others. Probably depends on the amount of a certain chemical in your body. Now what I can help with is jewelry in general. Not sure how many on the list believe in " New Age " remedies but here are a few things you can do with jewelry. Colors and stones each have healing properties. For instance, Citrine helps depression and anxiety, amethyst is an all around healing stone, red stones tend to help with blood disorders, and the list goes on. A lot of people have found relief from symptoms of certain disorders by wearing jewelry with the appropriate stone for the type of healing. This might sound corny to some, but this has all been tested for years and years and a lot of these " of wives' tales " have worked for centuries. To take it a step forward it is believed that illness stems from Chakras (energy centers in the body) being out of balance. This is ancient Eastern knowldge so don't laugh yet. Since the thyroid is located at the 5th chakra (the throat chakra)the color to help balance is blue. Blue stones are also VERY healing. Wearing a blue stone around your neck might be worth trying for a while I could go on for days, but I am sure I am boring you all with my Hoodoo. Guest guest
I have read and heard that it is better to wear them near the chakra or healing spot. If the energy is closer to the spot it is more effective. Necklaces and earring helps with higher chakras, stones in pocket help with lower chakras Kinda like applying an oinment to the infected spot. I'm glad I can help. I find it all so facinating and it makes so much sense to me. Deanna > Thanks for the info Deanna. You wrote it helps with sensitivity to light. I am super sensitive to light. I could live in a cave and would have no problems with the lighting <grin>. > > I have a strand of Lapis (round beads) I bought a few weeks ago. I think I will string them and make a bracelet ..... or.... should I do a necklace?? I wander if it is better to wear it near the thyroid area?? Do you know?? > > Thanks again for info on Rhondonite. > sheila >
