Guest guest
Well I turtled this week. KOPS at goal I exercised 5 hours so far. Will contact my team mates today. Kept a food journal. my long term goal is to remain a KOPS - my short term goal is to lose one dress size this year. To do this I will get out more and walk. Am planning on walking to work some this summer. In our chapter we have what we call 7 to ten -- Each member brings atleast 2 packages durning the year. We usually have anywhere from 5 to 10 packages to choose from. You wrap thesse packages anywhere from 7 to ten times. At the meetings the ones who turtle or lose get to take a wrap off. The one who loses the least chooses first then it ispassed around in the order of weight loss from lowest to highest. The one who unwraps the package gets it - then a new one is picked. We have a lot of fun doing this. Hope everyone has a wonderful and safe new year. Love ya W Kathleen wrote: We have been talking so much about reaching our year's end goals that I decided to share some of my own good news. I feel like I "owe" you guys something happy for a change instead of my complaining. I measured myself today and (drum roll please) I am now 2 inches smaller in the hips than when I started the year 2004!!!!!!!!! Unofficially (weighed here at home) I have lost 19.75 pounds for the year. Not spectacular, but it's a good start!!!!!!!!!!! Unofficially, I have a loss after the Christmas week. I'll have the "official" news tomorrow night. Can you tell I'm just a littllllllllllllle bit happy? LOL Melody, please mark down the "happy dance" as exercise for me!Thank you so much for the extra kick I needed right now, Melody, aka Allied Supreme Commander. This contest has really helped. This morning my area captain brought by the packet for our FunDay in February or is it March? I'm too happy about my loss to be able to remember anything about FunDay! LOL She also brought the chapter's year-end resume since I hadn't received it in the mail. No one in our chapter has done this before, so it should be fun. Not!Lt.
