I am sorry if I have offended anyone in our group. You know I was a minister and Believe in God if I didn't I don't feel I would still be with you all. I strongly believe God has a time for me too but until that time I will keep fighting this cancer.

Each of us have no problem saying to each other we will pray for each other but I believe in God and yes it is a religious thing as well as my illness. I have grown closer to God since I was dianosed. At age 33 I found out I had cancer the first time and then it came back again resently at the age of 36 and then I found out I am stage IV and I am still fighting but not in my strength because we can't win in our strength but in a higher person's strength and I believe that is God who is helping me. Again I am sorry if I offended anyone I thought I was trying to give encouraging words to Eva again I am sorry.

Ronda,

I don't think you have offended anyone. Don't worry about it. If you did it certainly was not intentional.

Re: Worried

I am sorry I use to be a youth pastor until they let me go due to high cost of my medical needs and I believe that God can provide for our needs if we trust. I know some of you may not believe in God and if I have offending anyone I am sorry.Ronda

Georgia you have said everything so very well.....I know I could not have come through what I have the last 10 years and also many years before without my Lord to lean on.....He has brought me through losing 9 of my family to horrible death, my husband, 2 heart attacks, and BC....hosestly I could not make it one day or hour with His love and mercy....Thanks for putting into words what I feel but could not put into words....God Bless Marco or Georgia Mannino wrote:

Personally, I'm not into religion. I heard religion defined as man's attempt to save himself. Having a relationship with the Lord God almighty, after receiving Jesus's finished work at Calvary to die in OUR place for OUR sins and being adopted into our Heavenly Father's family to be considered the "sons of God" seems very important to those of us who look to Him as the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. It is He who has made us and not we ourselves; therefore, to seek His wisdom regarding our health, our fiances, and our future seems vitally important. He is all knowing, all seeing, and all loving. He wants what is best for us, and gives us the strength we need to keep going in the face of adversity. We can love each other because He first loved us. We know that without Him we are nothing, but through Him all things are possible. After all, He raised Lazarus from the dead, healed the blind, caused the lame to walk, brought healing

to the lepers, and the same spirit that raised Him from the dead dwells in us to quicken our mortal bodies. He is the only one in the universe who cared for us enough to send His son, the perfect Lamb of God, to take away the sins of the world. Every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord. His name is above every name..His name is above sickness, above cancer, above poverty, above injustice, above oppression, and above depression. We are honored to give Him the praise and the glory as we see improvement in our situations, because we know that He is working in our behalf as no man can. Even when we see delays and what appears to be defeat we know that our victory is in Him, as my husband declared as he left his mortal, corruptible body to go live eternally with our Lord in his new incorruptible body. He saw glimpses of his eternal home and continually stated in his last hours that God is awesome.

Even death has no victory to those who believe so even in what appears to some as our darkest hour, we put our trust in Him and accept our eternal reward. wrote:

I'm curious about the constant mention of God here, is it because of the illness or was everyone religious beforehand?

I have lot of experience when it comes to breast cancer surgery. I have had two lumpectomies besides to mastectomies. When I had my lumpecotmies this didn't happen to me and they cut me around the nipple. If I were you I would call your doctor ASAP and find out what is going on. I will pray that all goes well and that you will heal quicker than I did.Hugs,Ronda "there are only 2 tragedies in life: one is not getting what one wants, and the other is getting it."
