Thank you for your responses and concern about my

current issues. My head's still spinning. , you

have an excellent point about the statistics at UCLA

vs. UCSD, and as you know I happen to LOVE San Diego.

But we're really thinking out of desperation -- i.e., in

terms of where there's the largest population (largest donor

pool). But I still have lots of research to do. At least I'm

growing a short list of folks who are volunteering to

help me do some of that research. Being resourceful and

determined is exhausting - not what it's cracked up to be.

Joyce, why am I not surprised that you have the mother

ship but none of the satellites? a-MA-zing humbuggery.

, it sounds smart to make a change before you

get into the rut that Joyce seems to stay in with Apria.

Broken record here - wash, wash, and wash some more,

and wear a mask. It'd be good if your hubby would wear

a mask too, actually. Don't use handkerchiefs - use

Kleenex and Purell after every single nose wipe. boring.

I too have some fake plants outside - never fail to get

compliments. FYI, humidity bothers me a LOT, as well

as our ghastly heat and ozone. Also, perfume and cleansers,

dust, mold, wet weather, gusts of cold air, blah, blah, blah.

I'm discouraged that it's harder for me to talk lately, but

that's part of the new plateau.

Jim,

I'm so invigorated just thinking about what you get to

feel and see all the time where you live. I love winter

and snow and mountains. God does incredibly

beautiful work, and I can tell you feel blessed to be

in such wonderful surroundings. I'm glad for you.

Wish you could send me a bottle of that air, and I've

never seen the Northern Lights. I'll bet it's life-changing

to see that, as well as something like the whale feeding

that you witnessed. wow.
