Guest guest
Coq10 or ubign. something or other has a profound effect on me too. I find only several brands work really well on lower doses/ This supplement is made by tobacco plants or some seafood or sea product. Now evn though I am unable to take any iodine, I find I need the sea kind of coq10. I take 150 mgs a day, adding one or two more 75 mgs pills on days of high stress/. I always make sure it ( the ingrediant)is from Japan Message: 5 Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2004 20:23:24 -0000 Subject: Re: Co Q 10 I take it and have had an amazing experience with it. I was looking around at a very interesting website where people who have had cures from CFS and fibromyalgia wrot in with what they had done. I came accross a couple of interesting things and one was a post from a man in the UK who had cured his CFS, which was quite bad, with high doses of CoQ10. He used 600mg a day. I have had lingering adrenal problems for about two years and it seems to affect me in a similar way to CFS whenever I do too much activity. I am worlds better than I was two years ago, but, I am always on the look out for anything that might help me be able to do more and recover my adrenal capacity fully. Anyway, I had ben taking 125mg of CoQ10 without noticing anything. But, this guy's story was backed up by a lot of research he had done on his own and I was intrigued. So, I decided to raise my dose to 600mg and see what happened. I was really amazed at what a huge difference it made in how I felt in just one day. I have since found that I can take as little as 400mg and get the same benifit. It is kind of expensive to take that much, but it is worth it to me since I just really began to feel good and have good energy. Since starting the high doses of CoQ10, I have been able to go out every day and jog a little. Before that just walking too much made me miserable. I will cut back on something else before giving up the CoQ10. All the amazing research with CoQ10, where they got cancer cures and regressions was done with 400mg a day. It is a natural substance that your body makes and uses for cellular energy and there is no known harm from high doses and no overdose symptoms that have been reported by people. I have since read that when the body gets under too much stress, it sometimes has trouble making sufficient CoQ10. I think that is what happened to me. I was started on thyroid therapy with no adrenal support and just totally crashed and it seemed to really set me back and recovery of my adrenal function has been slow.
