Dear Lynn,

I bought a Welch one - about $135. - synthetic - easy to care for.

My friend is a hairdresser. She said human hair wigs are not only more expensive, but harder to take care of.

Just don't wash the synthetic one too much - first one I ruined! (I think I drowned it)

Love,

PS How is your daughter doing?

Thanks for the info. I'll be very careful not to drown it!!! One

thing I liked about the sythetic is that I wouldn't have to fuss with

it after washing - it's permanently *set*.

My daughter is doing ok right now. We're sort of in a lull right now,

so that I could meet with the plastic surgeon them make some

decisions. She'll probably get a little more upset when I get my 2nd

surgery done.

I've decided not to have reconstruction right away. They couldn't

tell me if I'll need radiation or not after the chemo, plus I don't

want to take the chance of not healing well and having to put off my

chemo.

I'm also trying to decide which reconstruction to do - either the back

or tummy. I asked which would interfere least with my horse business

and he really couldn't say one over the other. I need all the muscles

I can get for riding, breeding, haying, mucking, training babies.....

Any ideas?

Lynn
