Guest guest
my friend bill he writes beautiful poems and poetry and every sunday he sends them to us and i thought i would share his beautiful poems with you its long very long so i hope you enjoy i like i do cheryl Yes God still does miracles, but we don't always recognize them beingthey are things we see every day and takefor granted. Do you take for granteda breath. That is a miracle in itself. Themiracle of life is a wondrous thing thatwe tend to overlook. God gives us eachspecial moments of which we don't see, because we're too busy looking the otherway. Are you looking the other way?See what God is doing in your life today. You might be surprised if you take a singlemoment to look. Look at the trees thatgrow or the flowers that bloom. Godgave them all to us though minute in ourown eyes. Think for a minute. If therewere no more trees and flowers wouldyou not really and truly miss them? I betya would. I know I would. Take the timetoday to look around and see all of Godsmiracles that He provides. You might finda joy inside you that you didn't know thatexisted. Well I believe it's about timefor me to begin thinking of a title fora poem to write. So here I go intothinking mode. Thinking thinkingthinking thinking thinking BINGI believe I have it.Take a LookLook all around youand see all of the sightsthat fill up our daysand also our nights.Take a look quicklybefore it goes awayand see what God gave youto help you today. He gives us each miraclesthat we toss asidewhile misery surely thenlives on inside. We need to see the miraclesGod provides for you and meby opening our eyes upand seeing what we should see.We need to each realizethat God gave todayfor if He really wanted toHe could take it all away.©By Bill PearceJul 25, 2004I hope you enjoyed today's journal.I know I might of rambled a bit, buthey, I'm not used to Judy being homeso soon so I guess ya could say I'manxious to spend time with her LOL.She's playing FlipWords. poemsThings You DoFinding an ornamentto hang on a treeis sort of like searchingfrom inside of me.An ornament of lifestyleto hang for you to viewis the ornament I used to hangto simply misconstrue. Many times that hanging ornamentwas showing misconceptionto hang out for you to seedefeating your perception.Today my life I show for youis what that's on inside, for the ornament I hang todayhas nothing else to hide.We all have our ornamentthat someone else can't seebut with the power of Jesus Christthe Truth will set us free.Letting the ornament deep within usbe changed for a better viewso what all that goes on insideshows in the things you do.©By Bill PearceJul 21, 2004ByfarSometimes a mileis only in the mindfor vision from deep insideis what our eyes do find. This vision is obstructedby things another daythat sometimes somehow seemto just get in our way. It's those times that we rememberthat we need to freeby opening up our eyes to the truthand see what we need see. That mile of which you viewed that daymight then dissipateand make the sorted views you seeto be a different state. Our state of minds depends uponthe way our insides areand by correcting our perceptionthe past will learn byfar.©By Bill PearceJuly 21, 2004New ImprovedSeas of teardropsfill up the viewwith salty dropletsa sea of blue.Tiny ones cryingover their daybecause of a promisethey heard someone say.Ones so very trustfulgrow up to lie, because of all the thingswithin their by and by.So much untrustingis brought into their lifewhich makes them to carrya gun or a knife. We need to try harderto make the children seewhat was all wrongand how it should be.I for one have flawed, but today's another dayso I like you can change the viewwith what we do and say.The youth are watchingto see what we doso are they going to seea new improved you.©By Bill PearceJul 22, 2004CantankerousCantankerous cohortsall live in our day. They are seen arguingabout what you do and say. They argue about thisand they argue about thatyes cantankerous cohortsare where all you're at.We all have known themand maybe have beenthe cantankerous cohortthat made it begin.Look around you nowand tell me what you see.Do you see ones arguingabout what that could be?If you do not see themthen maybe this is true. The cantankerous cohortmight just be you.©By Bill PearceJul 22, 2004Remote ControlIt sometimes seemsour life has been stoleby a simple little boxcalled a remote control. No more reaching outto turn the things on.Yes my dear friendsthose days are gone. The day of many batterieshas come into viewso to make our remote controlsdo what that they should do.So many staring blindlyat their TV's todayand their channel surfing clickershave just gone astray.Away from the purposefor TV to be.Yes remote controls have justmade slaves of you and me.Slaves of the little boxthat turns down the sound.Yes we've all just forgottenhow we used to get around. The children don't knowhow we used to turn the dialfor they've all grown upin the remote control mile.I think we all need toget back to the pastfor the remote control batteriesrun down really fast. The clicker you're clickingmight just one day dieand then will you get upor just sit there and cry?So why don't we practicemanually turning things onand watching a whole programand not clicking till dawn.We might then just find outwhat we each should knowand that is we can live withoutthat old remote control.©By Bill PearceJul 22, 2004Starlight Will ReturnSee as the starlightshines after dayforming the skylightin its own way.It shines in a specialscenery scenewhere the grass is a shadowthat in daylight it's green.See as the starlightshows us its huefrom shadows of watersthat in daylight they're blue. The starlight has beautythat none can comparefor it brings in the sweetnight time night air.The brisk morning followsall covered with dew,but the starlight will returnto show us its hue.©By Bill PearceJul 23, 2004They Add UpI found a nickeljust lying aroundwhere somebody dropped itface down on the ground. It was all tarnisheddue to weather from time, but I cleaned it upand I made it as mine. The nickel was thrown away, because it wasn't much.Somebody wanted morethat the nickel didn't touch. They didn't realizethat it added upif they saved that tarnished nickelin a little saving cup.Putting more nickels with itwould make its worth to grow, but this was surely something trulythat they didn't know.So now I'm even picking upthe pennies that I see, because they surely also add upto one and two and three.©By Bill PearceJul 23, 2004Might Just UnderstandWhy do we blamewhen we don't know why?I believe it's just becausewe don't see eye to eye.Why do we point fingerswhen it's something we've done?I believe it could bethat we don't want to be the one.Why do we speak harshlywhen kindness would do?I believe it's just becausewe know not what's true.If we wouldn't act so quickin the process of the daythen things wouldn't end upin a messed up sort of way.If we would simply tryto understand their viewthen we might just understandwhy they do what they do.©By Bill PearceJul 23, 2004Peaceful MindFinding time to call my ownI feel as though I'm weak.I've searched on through my everydayto find what all I seek.I soon found that time I soughtwas in the place I stay.It was sitting right in front of mein the form of today.Finding my own time is hard to dowhen I seek not true, for when I seek for mere facadesit is the wrong to do.The way for me to find my own timeis to look insideand search within my heart for Godand make His time abide. Then my searching will succeed, for my time will find.It only takes some help from Godto make a peaceful mind.©By Bill PearceJul 23, 2004Help With The PainWe each have stormsthat find their wayinto our onceserene type day.The lightning strikesand causes painthat is describedas pouring rain. The rains pour downand flood our daywith the thingsthat don't go our way. It's times like thesewe should each kneel downand pray to Godfor some solid ground. The storms will continueto come in and rain, but you'll then have Godto help with the pain.©By Bill PearceJul 23, 2004Little BitLittle bitwith little timedo you lookto find a rhyme?A rhythm seenby little eyes?Yes little bitso full of why's?Yours is askinglooking fora sky at nightwith a shooting star.Little bityou might be me,for those are thingsI wished to see.I rememberyears agowishing forwhat I now know.Little bitin the mirrorI see the pasta little clearer.I'm the little bitthat does speakthat ends the poemand falls to sleep.©By Bill PearceJul 24, 2004Dust of TimeDust of timefalls on my face.It leaves its markfrom place to place.Dust of timefills up the roomand I try to sweep it upwith a dust sweeping broom, but the dust of timecannot be sweptfor those are minutesthat can't be kept.Dust of timefills up a voidwith times I was sadand times I enjoyed.Dust of timeI bring in to todaywhile all of the pastjust blows away.©By Bill PearceJul 24, 2004Don't StruggleIf we didn't struggleso hard for the viewand took our time dailyto find out what's true,we might just find outwhat all we need to learnand we might have less mishap, because time had its turn, but we do seem to strugglewith time every dayand we get really angrywhen things don't go our way.We need to have faithwith the minutes that comeand trust in Lord Jesusfor in Him we should succumb.©By Bill PearceJul 24, 2004Showing and TellingShow and tellis something I didmany years agowhen I was just a kid.Going to schoolto tell my own storyand it was but onlyfor my own kid glory. This is todayand how many do.Showing and tellingwhile words misconstrue. We tell ones of Jesusand how in us He lives, but then we show bitternessin all that He gives. We spend much time gripingabout things everydaywhen we really should be showingour faith when we pray.©By Bill PearceJul 24, 2004Have a wonderful weekGod bless from Bill and
