Guest guest
I do not know if any of you remember me posting back in Feb.that my husband was off work for a medical problem and we lost our insurance after he was off wotk for 12 weeks.Well he is still of work the company that he drove for will not let him go back to driving with out an MRI done. Well he and I signed up for Medicade they would not give it to him cause he was not disabled enough. He is now working a temparary part time position with the city we live in.He still does not have ins.and still can not afford the test out of our own pocket for the test.Well to make a long story short I do get the medicade and going to receive SSI..I was so happy to get the phone call today that I was approved for both I am not getting alot of SSI but will get enough to cover copays on whatever medicade does not pay for...Now I can go see my cancer Drs.and finish the reconstruction that was started last year. I hope all of you are doing good and continue doing so. Thanks for listening Eva
Guest guest
Hi Eva. Good to hear from you. Have you checked the teaching hospitals and clinics? I know our hospital will take patients that cannot afford to pay. It would be worth looking into. You and your husband are in my prayers.
