Cancer and gas stoves

I'm having one of my fantatical thought obsessions ...

My aunt's husband recently died of a horrible lung cancer after 40

years of cooking with an old gas stove, in N.Y.C. It naturally

occurred to me that the old gas stove might have something to do with

it -- he did most of the cooking for the two of them in their little

apartment with a tiny kitchen. My aunt also used the stove and had

lymphatic cancer. I have now cooked with a gas stove for 5 years in

my tiny apartment, and I now have breast cancer.

Does anyone care to reassure me that they have cancer (any kind) and

have never cooked with a gas stove for any length of time?

Humor me. But gimmie the truth. Thanks.

Janie
