Within the last week, I have seen the Becker book at both Borders &

-Noble @ $14.95 (paperback).

After reading it, it is right up there at the top of my " must-read " list with

Dr Bernstein's book, in fact I would say read this one first. That is a major

change in opinion for myself who has always put Dr B's book at the top of my

list of recommendations.

It contains a lot of important useful & practical knowledge that all

diabetics, particularly those newly diagnosed, should have gotten from their

medical professionals and/or " diabetes education class " , but usually didn't.

IMHO, this could (should) be a textbook for those classes.
