If you already have immune disorders, then your doctor will probably encourage you to get it, otherwise, just do the normal preventive things. If you do catch the flu, get the rest you need and do whatever it takes to avoid complications. In and of itself, Hypothyroidism is not going to meet the criteria for " high risk " . I am considered " high risk " but we cannot get the vaccine out here. I already have the flu...
