Guest guest Posted August 7, 2004 Report Share Posted August 7, 2004 My daughter is 13 and has hypothyroidism. She is on .175 mg Synthroid, but continues to gain weight and has only had one menstrual cycle which was her first. I have her lab work done and they keep increasing the strength of the Synthroid, but it doesn't seem to help. Does anyone know of anything we might be overlooking or that might help?
