Guest guest
You could be wiping out your adrenals with the excercise. This will give you problems with low dose thyroid replacement. It will give symptoms of excess thyroid. If your thyroid replacement is too low, then the adrenals become weak. You may not notice the problem untill you put yourself under stress, such as a vigorous exercise program. The thyroid produces about 4-1/2 to 5 grains of thyroid a day. You cannot overdose on on doses lower than what your healthy thyroid makes because your own thyroid will drop production by whatever you are taking to get levels down to normal or about 4-1/2 to 5 grains. So, if you feel hyper on doses less than 3 grains, it is usually caused by adrenal problems, anemia, poor nutrition or some other factor affecting the body's ability to use the hormone. You have to have adequate thyroid replacement for the adrenals to gain the proper strength and function for you to handle stress properly. It is very hard to do a vigorous exercise program with adrenal fatigue. You will crash after a while. Tish
