Guest guest
, I'm " not at liberty to say " what I think of the characters you've had to deal with in your monumental insurance fiasco!! It makes smoke come out of my ears. Gosh I hope your justified anger and determination get some results SOON from the pinhead brigade. Makes you wonder who ties those folks' shoelaces for them! Peggy, Puh-leeze, I hope your situation gets resolved long before you find yourself entangled in a nightmare like 's. Judy, I am SO encouraged and uplifted by the news of your homecoming. Jeff did a great job of keeping us posted after your surgery. I pray that every day finds you a little bit stronger and happier, and that maintaining your new " normal " gets easier all the time. I'm so happy for you, and pray that I will get a chance to share the same experience one of these days. I could never have guessed that so much would be riding on one telephone call! To all the newbies - just wanted to say again what a super contribution you are making to the site. It's always good to hear from you, and I've learned a lot from you. Irene, So sorry about the Reynaud's. Like you need something else to add to the list. I hope some of the board's suggestions will bring you some relief. Hang in there! RR, Thank you so much - the video was definitely worth viewing! Choosing life can be a seemingly simple choice but often such a heroic act as well. This man is doing more than surviving - he's a productive citizen... amazing!! I hope you are having one of your better days. Kerry, Just wanted to say I hope you having a good day, that the kids are off to a good start in school, and that you have something fun planned for the weekend. Joy, I'm on 10 mg of Pred a day, and presumably after transplant, God willing, I'll always be on it. I gained about 15 pounds and have about 5 of that still to lose. But I had 15 additional ones to lose already! I'm trying to psych my recumbent bike into doing more than it's intended to. I can dream, right? I've been researching power chairs (electric wheelchairs), because it's probably going to be the next step for me. I DETEST the thought, but I'm going to have to do something to solve the problem of my sats dropping multiple times a day by walking from a chair or another room to where my tanks are (so I can turn up my liter flow for exertion - duh). I would have thought my biggest problem would be out in public, but so far the Helios Companions and my Container Store cart have pretty well solved that problem. Janine, is yours a scooter or a power chair? What brand? Tomorrow I'm having my second upper Endoscopy in 6 weeks, this one hopefully an uneventful follow-up to make sure the ablation he did before on the weird condition he found was a big success. I've become a US Open tennis junkie. I watched one match and got totally hooked. I don't know when I've watched so much t.v. but I'm really enjoying it. THOSE guys have some superhuman lungs!!!! Leanne, Sorry I missed the chat last week. I actually forgot even though I had written it on my calendar. I'll cheer on my brain cells for next week... they need all the help I can give them.
