Guest guest
Hello, My mother who is 89 was diagnosed with IPF in March 2007. She is on oxygen 24/7. I joined this group to read your comments on how you deal with this disease. I think mom has a lot to be thankful for that she has gone 89 without any health issues, and that her fibrosis is small right now. One thing that the doctors can't explain is why she is losing her hair. It is coming out in clumps, not just in certain spots on her head but all over. She's only experienced hair loss one other time in her life and that was after my wedding 40 years ago. That time it came out in half dollar sized circles and came back after injections. This is different. She wonders if it has anything to do with the oxygen. Does anyone know? Thanks. Sallie for Verna in Indiana
