Guest guest
Hi! I am so jazzed, I got my blood tests back online today and, even though I try to read as many posts as I can, I still need some help interpreting them. I got a lot so here goes (I already know the cholesterol is high) I got these from healthcheck usa Neutrophils 52 Lymphocytes 34 Monocytes 6 Eosinophils 7 Basophils 1 WBC 6.6 RBC 4.60 HGB 13.5 HCT 42.9 MCV 94 MCH 29.5 MCHC 31.5 Platelet Count 343 (at least I know I'll clot if I get cut! LOL!) RDW 13.2 ALT (SGPT) 78 Albumin 4.4 Globulin 2.8 Alkaline Phosphatase 86 AST (SGOT) 44 BUN 15 Calcium 9.3 Chloride 106 Cholesterol 246 Creantinine 0.8 GGT 38 Glucose 93 Iron 69 LDH 171 Phosphorus 3.9 Potassium 4.4 Sodium 139 Total Bilirubin 0.4 A/G Ratio 1.6 Total Protein 7.2 Triglycerides 77 Uric Acid 5.2 HDL Cholesterol 72 CHOL/HDL Ratio 3.4 LDL Cholesterol 158 LDL/HDL Ratio 2.20 VLDL, Calculated 15 Ferritin 14 (ummmm their range starts at 10 and goes to 291 so I guess this is low?) Free Thyroxine (T4) 0.8 Bicarbonate 24 Triiodothronine Free 2.1 TSH (3rd generation) 1.312 Okay....now some of this I recognize, most I don't. Can anyone help interpret these for me? I gather I am very iron deficient and don't absorb what gets into my body anyway what with the iron and ferritin levels being so low. What is a good iron supplement? Well, I need to run get something to eat and make sure the kids aren't killing each other. Catch you all later! Deb
