Guest guest Posted January 6, 2001 Report Share Posted January 6, 2001 Gosh , I have never seen any of my doctors or nurses right before my surgeries (4 so far). The first guy who shaved my hand had to answer the phone while he was preparing my head- that was in 1970 - 1st surgery. He jokingly said it was my doctor calling from his home. The doc was just getting up and calling to see if I was ready! The second surgery four years later the smart alec who was shaving my head this time told me he went to barber school for this job. I could have reached up and slapped him but I didn't. I would have liked to shave his head! For these surgeries they shaved the WHOLE thing. Lovely!
