Guest guest
For those of you who enjoy wine, might I suggest the 2000 La Loggia. It is a Barolo imported by Santini Fine Wines that can be had at Trader Joes for $15. However, it is on the low end of high end wines in terms of taste and therefore it represents an *excellent* value. Quite yummy for the price. I don't know if you can readily find it outside of Trader Joe's at that price, but its worth the search. My sister searched high and low for it to put it in her restaurant, but the best she could do was $25 through a wine auction. And unfortunately, the alcohol nazi's in the state of Washington won't allow restaurants to buy wine from a retail store unless it is state approved, which Trader Joe's is not. -- I first met her...in the Student Union at the University...sitting across and down the table from each other. Our eyes met and that was it. I was lost immediately in her soulful gaze (which I remember vividly and tearfully even now) and was drawn inexorably from that very moment into a love so certain that I never doubted anything about it, other than the improbability that she would put up with me. Things worked out. Glory to God! -Mark Gilstrap
